How would you describe your specialty, background and area of focus?
“My specialty focuses on the representation of retailers and restaurants (both traditional sit down and QSR formats). I also represent retail building owners of all formats: large shopping centers, smaller neighborhood centers and street front retail. My core geography for tenant representation is Connecticut, Rhode Island, Western Massachusetts and New York counties such as Westchester, Rockland, Orange, Putnam and Dutchess. And for landlord representation my main coverage region is Connecticut and Westchester counties.”
What is one personal fact about you that people might not know?
“I once scored 5 touchdowns in one game against Wilton, while leading the Fairfield Prep team my senior year, and earning All-State honors.”
Where do you think the market is heading? What’s one key trend you think is imporant?
“I continue to believe that we’re in a stable market overall. Obviously, some sectors are performing better than others, but the one constant to me has been and always will be the grocery-anchored shopping center. These are the safest assets for owners, and the best chance for most retailers and restaurants to succeed – and we know these markets very, very well.”
What do you think sets TRUE CRE apart from the rest?
“I think that the biggest thing that sets us apart is our team approach to our business. Whether it’s a super-regional power center, a small street-front building, a massive multi-store retailer rollout or a single restaurant requirement – we approach the assignment with a team approach. It begins with assigning specific teams to each account, where everyone at the firm is involved to some degree, because we’re all looking out for each other; we’re all rooting for each other to succeed. We’ve always believed this approach best serves our clients, creates a geat culture and our clients recognize that.”
